Columbia made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lawrence County, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 12-3 margin over the Cougars on Tuesday. Considering the Wildcats have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Columbia now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Lawrence County, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-9 record.
