Wheeler County won the last time they faced Wilcox County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wheeler County Bulldogs took down the Wilcox County Patriots 51-37.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wheeler County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Wright Jr., who posted 17 points and six boards. The contest was Wright Jr.'s fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Tyree Travis, who earned 11 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks.

Wheeler County has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points over those games.
