Basketball Recap: New Heights Christian Academy Falls Despite Big Games from Logan Decker and Adam Stanton

New Heights Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 21, 2023 on Thursday. They came up short against the Greenwood Blue Jays, falling 67-45. The Cougars have struggled against the Blue Jays recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the defeat, New Heights Christian Academy had strong showings from Adam Stanton, who went 6 of 14 to rack up 16 points and seven boards, and Logan Decker, who posted seven points and ten rebounds. Ben Schumacher also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Even though they lost, New Heights Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in six consecutive games.
