While St. Xavier put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Fairfield. The Bombers put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 10-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Bombers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

St. Xavier pushed their record up to 13-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Fairfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 17 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-22 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Xavier will venture away from home to challenge Miamisburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairfield, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Elder at 5:00 p.m. on the 27th.
