Volleyball Game Preview: Canyon Crest Academy Ravens vs. Westview Wolverines

The Canyon Crest Academy Ravens are taking a road trip to challenge the Westview Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon Crest Academy will come into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

While Canyon Crest Academy's win against Sage Creek wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Ravens sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Bobcats on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Ravens have posted since March 8th.

Canyon Crest Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-27, 25-18, 25-14, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Westview was able to grind out a solid victory over Patrick Henry on Saturday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

Westview's win bumped their record up to 13-17. As for Canyon Crest Academy, they pushed their record up to 35-0 with the victory, which was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season.

Everything went Canyon Crest Academy's way against Westview in their previous meeting on April 10th, as Canyon Crest Academy made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
