Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Cashion

Cashion entered their tilt with Ripley on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 65-63 win over the Ripley Warriors. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Cashion's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for Ripley, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Cashion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-38 win against Tonkawa on the 14th. As for Ripley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 57-54 victory against Garber on the 14th.
