Soccer Recap: Valley's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

There's no place like home for Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Valley's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Jose Diaz and Santiago Diaz scored all four of Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

With the win, Valley broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-7-1. As for Lee-Scott Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3-1.

Looking ahead, Valley will challenge Elmore County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they will square off against Alabama Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
