Football Recap: Fort Atkinson Takes a Loss

Fort Atkinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Sun Prairie West Wolves 42-7. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Wolves are ranked 136th).

Fort Atkinson's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sun Prairie West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fort Atkinson is set to face off against their familiar foe Oregon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sun Prairie West will challenge rival Monona Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
