Flag Football Game Preview: Paradise Honors Panthers vs. Agua Fria Owls + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Paradise Honors will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the Agua Fria Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paradise Honors' offense hasn't had much luck over their past five games, but Tuesday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

Paradise Honors' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Tuesday. They managed a 6-0 win over Bradshaw Mountain.

Paradise Honors didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jaelyn Perez, Berlyn Hoyt, and McKenzie Rose picked up one apiece. With that strong performance, Hoyt is now averaging an impressive 5.4 total tackles per game.

Meanwhile, Agua Fria fell victim to Heritage Academy and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 58-0 loss at the hands of the Heroes. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Heroes are ranked 15th).

Paradise Honors has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average over those games. As for Agua Fria, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Paradise Honors strolled past Agua Fria in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 by a score of 14-0. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
