Volleyball Game Preview: Midland Timberwolves vs. Dwight Trojans

The Midland Timberwolves will venture away from home to challenge the Dwight Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Midland was able to grind out a solid win over LaMoille, taking the game 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Midland was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Dwight earned a 2-0 victory over Woodland on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19.

Midland's record is now 20-5. As for Dwight, their record now sits at 12-10.

Midland couldn't quite get it done against Dwight in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Timberwolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
