Soccer Game Preview: Marcus vs. Braswell

The Marcus Marauders will venture away from home to take on the Braswell Bengals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Marcus is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Hebron just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Marauders' first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of William Franklin, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Braswell kept a clean sheet against Lewisville on Friday. They skirted past the Farmers 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bengals.

Marcus' draw makes their record 5-2-1 this season. As for Braswell, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1.
