Softball Recap: Central Valley's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Central Valley finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell 5-1 to the Beyer Patriots. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Brooklynn Steeley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
