Baseball Recap: Oak Forest Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

Oak Forest had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Tinley Park Titans by a score of 6-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 on Monday.

Oak Forest got a great performance from Hayden Noha as he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Noha has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Vince Weber, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Evan Gamboa was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.

The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games.
