Volleyball Recap: Corrigan-Camden Comes Up Short

If Corrigan-Camden was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Goodrich last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huntington Red Devils on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 22-25, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Jaidyn Maddox, who had 14 digs and two assists.

Corrigan-Camden's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Huntington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-14.

Corrigan-Camden and Huntington will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Bulldogs are set to face off against their familiar foe Hemphill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Huntington will take on rival Central Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
