Volleyball Recap: Olympian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Olympian was the 2-0 winner over Santana when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Sultans on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Olympian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Santana's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, 25-22.

Leading Santana to victory were Madison Fortuna and Vanessa Ryan. Fortuna had six digs and two aces, while Ryan had 17 digs and two assists. That's the most aces Fortuna has posted since back in September.

Olympian now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Santana, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Olympian will venture away from home to square off against Sweetwater at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Santana, they will welcome El Capitan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
