Newark waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Westerville North Warriors get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Newark's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Westerville North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-10-1.

Newark and Westerville North are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against Marysville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westerville North, they will take on Canal Winchester at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
