Softball Recap: Barker Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Barker extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping them up to 4-0. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 14-13 W against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Raiders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Notre Dame, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

For Notre Dame's part, Olivia Gillard led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Clairissa Milliman, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Coming up, Barker will welcome Alexander at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Notre Dame, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Aquinas Institute at 4:30 p.m. on May 6.
