Softball Recap: Xenia Comes Up Short

Xenia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Tippecanoe Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 last Monday.

Xenia's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tippecanoe, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Xenia will head out to take on Middletown Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tippecanoe, they will venture away from home to challenge Piqua at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Red Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
