They fell just short of the Waunakee Warriors by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Norskies have suffered since May 23, 2024.

DeForest has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Waunakee, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.
