Palatka's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Charla Griffin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Haleigh Faulkner, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Faulkner, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Palatka was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .533. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Palatka's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Palatka has already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Bartram Trail on the 8th. Pembroke Pines Charter has also already played their next match (against Fort Lauderdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
