After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Deer Park, Port Arthur Memorial was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 51-45 W over the South Houston Trojans. This was payback for the Titans, who suffered an 80-56 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Port Arthur Memorial's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for South Houston, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, Port Arthur Memorial will face off against Goose Creek Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will be up against the Patriots' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.54 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Houston, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Sam Rayburn at 7:00 p.m. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
