Football Recap: Triad Knights vs. Morris Redskins
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Triad can now relate to. They were beaten by the Morris Redskins 57-28 on Saturday. The Knights have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Despite the loss, Triad still got an impressive performance from Isaac Ackerman, who threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown. A healthy portion of Ackerman's aerial production (82 yards to be exact) went to Ian Dempsey.
Triad's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Morris, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.
Triad does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morris, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-20 win against Highland on the 9th.
