Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics skates past Brighton with ease

Recap: Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics Storm vs. Brighton Bengals

In what's become a running theme this season, the Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics Storm gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Brighton 57-19 at home. The win was just what Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics needed coming off of a 63-24 loss in their prior contest.

Several Bengals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Damon Scott, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Scott has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Davis Wolfe, who scored four points along with six steals.

Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics pushed their record up to 7-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 52 points. As for Brighton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alexandria Homeschool Arts & Athletics will take on Old Bethel Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brighton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Faith Training Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. Faith Training Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
