Polk County has gone 9-0-1 against Madison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wolverines will venture away from home to square off against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Polk County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.

On Wednesday, Polk County got the win against Mountain Heritage by a conclusive 9-1. It was an even better day for Cooper Meyer as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Madison's offense. They lost 4-0 to Hendersonville on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for Madison in their meetings with Hendersonville: they've now lost six in a row.

Polk County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four matchups. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13-1.

Everything went Polk County's way against Madison in their previous meeting back in September, as Polk County made off with a 7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
