Soccer Recap: South Point Takes a Loss

After soaring to nine goals the game before, South Point was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They fell just short of the Ironton Fighting Tigers by a score of 1-0. One thing that didn't help South Point's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Israel Schneider.

South Point's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Ironton, their win bumped their record up to 6-7-2.

South Point has already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Chesapeake on the 6th. As for Ironton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Rock Hill on the 7th.
