Saint Francis has gone a perfect 6-0 against Gilroy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lancers will head out to face off against the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Saint Francis sitting on seven straight wins and Gilroy on four.

Gilroy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .459. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Christopher only posted a batting average of .240.

Saint Francis pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Gilroy, their record now sits at 12-4.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Saint Francis has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game.
