Wrangell had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tri-Valley Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Friday.

Wrangell walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 17-25, 27-25.

Alana Harrison paced Wrangell's offense, picking up 13 kills. Harrison got some help from Christina Johnson and her 32 assists. Harrison also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Paige Hoyt, each putting up two.

Wrangell's victory bumped their record up to 10-5-1. As for Tri-Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wrangell beat the Warriors by a score of 3-0 later that day.
