Vick came up big in Southampton Academy's 7-3 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Sam Vick stepped things up a notch to give Southampton Academy the 'W'. Amelia Academy had no answer to Vick as he scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
Vick and Southampton Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Brunswick Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southampton Academy has some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
