Legacy Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 51-50 W against the Menaul Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-55 on February 4th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Legacy Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daniel Tavarez, who went 6-for-14 en route to 12 points. Bryant Scales was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards.

Legacy Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Legacy Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Menaul, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.
