Baseball Recap: Spring Valley Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Spring Valley's offense. They came up short against the Wando Warriors on Wednesday, falling 11-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Spring Valley's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Wando, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Spring Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wando, they will head out to take on James Island at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their 21st straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
