For the first time this season, Calhoun was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Columbus Cardinals finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Calhoun was without their leading scorer, Daisy Guerrero, in Friday's game. With Guerrero sidelined, Ella Vazquez got her first action of the season.

With that draw, Calhoun's record moves to 7-7-1. Meanwhile, Columbus' record is now 3-7-1.

Coming up, Calhoun will take on Hallettsville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Palacios at 5:30 p.m. on February 18th.
