Oakfield had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They blew past the Horicon Marshmen 10-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-3 on April 3rd.

Oakfield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Horicon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Horicon has already played their next contest (against Markesan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Oakfield will be paying especially close attention to the Marshmen's match: after the Marshmen face off against the Hornets, they'll take on Oakfield again at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
