Basketball Recap: Three Lakes Takes a Loss

If Three Lakes was riding high fresh off their 69-29 takedown of Tomahawk last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Three Lakes Bluejays fell to the Crandon Cardinals 72-67. The Bluejays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Three Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Crandon, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Three Lakes will be home for the holidays to greet Wakefield at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crandon, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Antigo at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
