Basketball Recap: Northtown Takes a Loss

After flying high against Christian Heritage Academy last Thursday, Northtown came back down to earth. The Northtown Pumas lost 52-29 to the Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces on Monday. The Pumas have struggled against the Aces recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Northtown's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Ida Crown Jewish Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Northtown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ida Crown Jewish Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Westmont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westmont will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Ida Crown Jewish Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
