Basketball Recap: Kingsley-Pierson Gets the Win

Kingsley-Pierson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 47-46 photo finish over the River Valley Wolverines. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-40 last Tuesday.

Kingsley-Pierson is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points per game. As for River Valley, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9.

Kingsley-Pierson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-54 defeat against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute on the 4th. As for River Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 45-41 loss against Lawton-Bronson on the 4th.
