Scott lost against Garden City back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Beavers fell 3-1 to the Buffaloes. The Beavers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 21-25, 25-13, 25-10.

Lily Lightner paced Scott's offense, picking up seven kills. Lightner got some help from Kinleigh Wren and her 14 assists. Valerya Castillo controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Kaylee McDonald went supernova For Garden City., getting 31 digs and four aces. Those four aces gave McDonald a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ellie Sekavec, who had ten digs.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Garden City, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Scott will venture away from home to face off against Cimarron at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Garden City has already played their next game (against Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
