While Haverford School's win against Neumann-Goretti wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Fords won by a run and slipped past the Saints 5-4. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Fords as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Haverford School now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Neumann-Goretti, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Coincidentally, Haverford School and Neumann-Goretti will both be playing Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic the next time they take the field. The Saints will host the Friars/Pandas at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Fords will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
