Volleyball Recap: Travelers Rest's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Travelers Rest waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Anderson Christian Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

Travelers Rest was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-17.

Travelers Rest's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Anderson Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Travelers Rest and Southside will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Anderson Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on T.L. Hanna at 6:00 p.m. on October 9.
