Baseball Recap: Lamar Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lamar entered their tilt with Great Falls on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Red Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-6 last Tuesday.

Zori Pierce was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Hayden Timmons, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Lamar now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Great Falls, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Lamar will welcome Midlands STEM Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Great Falls, they will face off against McBee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
