Football Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Jordan's offense. They took a blow against the Marshall Barristers on Friday, falling 47-0. The defeat leaves the Bulldogs still looking for their first win of the season.

Marshall's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Benjamin Miller led the charge by picking up 106 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Miller was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 56 yards. Wesley Mejia also helped with two TDs in total.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Marshall, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Jordan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Fremont on the 25th. As for Marshall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 42-18 win against Jefferson on the 26th.
