Powell made her presence known in Vidor's 72-37 loss
Madison Powell wasn't messing around on Friday, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. The matchup was her fourth straight with three or more steals. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. For the season, she has averaged 11.3 points and 3.5 steals per contest.
Powell and Vidor will head out on the road to take on Little Cypress-Mauriceville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Vidor has not beaten Little Cypress-Mauriceville recently, having gone 0-9 since December of 2018.
