Baseball Recap: Whale Branch Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lake Marion last Friday, Whale Branch came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the Hampton County Hurricanes on Tuesday, falling 10-0.

Trystin Roberts was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases.

Whale Branch's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Hampton County, their record is now 3-5.

While Whale Branch had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
