Volleyball Recap: Hill Freedman World Academy Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Philadelphia, Hill Freedman World Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Philadelphia High School for Girls GAZELLE.

Hill Freedman World Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-19, 25-19, 25-19.

Hill Freedman World Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Philadelphia High School for Girls, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hill Freedman World Academy will take on rival High School of the Future at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Philadelphia High School for Girls is set to face off against their familiar foe South Philadelphia at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
