Volleyball Recap: Forestburg's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Forestburg came into Saturday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Santo Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Brenna Briles paced Forestburg's offense, picking up 17 kills. Briles got some help from Jocelyn Rich and her 18 assists. Briles was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Forestburg's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Santo, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Forestburg will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Gold-Burg at 2:00 p.m. As for Santo, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Perrin-Whitt at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
