Basketball Recap: Monona Grove's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Monona Grove was the 75-59 winner over Platteville when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Monona Grove Silver Eagles fell 73-63 to the Platteville Hillmen on Saturday.

Monona Grove's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for Platteville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

When Monona Grove and Platteville next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Monona Grove will challenge Waunakee and their seven-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Platteville will try to stop Cuba City's ten-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
