Baseball Game Preview: Riverside Pirates vs. Enterprise/Joseph Savages

Riverside hasn't had much luck against Enterprise/Joseph recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Pirates will welcome the Savages at 12:00 p.m. Riverside has given up an average of 8.5 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Riverside came up short against Vale on Friday, falling 11-1.

Riverside saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Thomas, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Enterprise/Joseph got themselves on the board against Umatilla on Tuesday, but Umatilla never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 14-0 win. Considering the Savages have won six matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Enterprise/Joseph's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
