Oakdale waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Hancock County Indians with a sharp 8-2 win. Considering the Eagles have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Oakdale pushed their record up to 24-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Hancock County, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

Oakdale has already played their next game (against Unaka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
