Poly has gone 6-1 against Paloma Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Poly Bears will head out to challenge the Paloma Valley Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Poly's last six matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Poly is headed into Thursday's following a draw, the team's first since December 21. They and Citrus Hill finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Paloma Valley sidestepped Hemet for a 3-2 win.

Paloma Valley's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-8-2. With that draw, Poly's record moves to 10-4-3.

Poly came out on top in a nail-biter against Paloma Valley when the teams last played two weeks ago, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Poly since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
