Baseball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.57 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 10-4 to the Canyon Comanches. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly six runs.

David Wu made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for University and nudges their season record down to 8-6. As for Canyon, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University will face off against Portola at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Canyon, they will square off against Pacifica at 3:15 p.m. on the 9th.
