Volleyball Recap: Trenton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Trenton lost against Dixie County back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bears by a score of 3-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trenton started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 23-25, 25-16, 25-22, 15-10.

Dixie County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kate McKaskill led the charge by getting 11 assists and nine digs. Those 11 assists gave McKaskill a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hadlee Hines, who had ten digs.

Trenton's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Dixie County, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Trenton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Williston on the 22nd. As for Dixie County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Eastside on the 23rd.
